«I walked past this window and for a second, the lines blurred. There he was—the icon, the hero, trapped in a web of glass and reflections—and there I was, a shadow trying to catch a fragment of that story.

In the city, we are all layers. We are the masks we wear and the reflections we leave behind on the glass of a storefront. I wanted this shot to feel like a dream you have just before waking up: grainy, distorted, but undeniably real.

«Sono passato davanti a questa vetrina e, per un istante, i confini si sono fatti sfocati. Eccolo lì — l’icona, l’eroe, intrappolato in una ragnatela di vetro e riflessi — ed eccomi lì io, un’ombra che cercava di afferrare un frammento di quella storia.

In città, siamo tutti fatti di strati. Siamo le maschere che indossiamo e i riflessi che lasciamo sulle vetrine dei negozi. Volevo che questo scatto sembrasse un sogno fatto un attimo prima di svegliarsi: granuloso, distorto, ma innegabilmente reale.
